Film Junk Weekend Wrap-Up: The Dude Gets in a Fight, Green Hornet in Trouble, Ryan Gosling’s Band

Aside from Sundance and the Oscar Nominations, there wasn’t really all that much going on around Hollywood this week. There are, however, plenty of little news tidbits that we didn’t get a chance to report on, including a possible Pushing Daisies movie, a writer for the Preacher film, and rumours of Seth Rogen’s The Green Hornet being on the verge of cancellation. If that wasn’t enough, Jeff Dowd (the real-life producer who served as the inspiration for “The Dude” in The Big Lebowski) apparently got in a scrap with a film critic at Sundance! I knew we were going to regret leaving so early.
