A couple of weeks ago we got a look at the shortlist for the 2008 Razzie Awards, but now the votes are in, and they’ve settled on 5 official nominees in each category (well, except for a few categories where they cheated by including 2 movies as 1 nominee).

As we’ve discussed previously, these awards are kind of pointless because they never honour the truly terrible movies in a given year, they are mainly an excuse to mock celebrities. As such, it’s probably no surprise that The Love Guru has the most nominations, because unlike the people who get mocked every year (ie. Uwe Boll, Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer), Mike Myers’ career took a bit of a nosedive in 2008. Might as well get your shots in while you have the chance.
