Although there were some questions about the future of the upcoming Ghostbusters video game when it lost its publisher back in July, Atari has now taken over the project and announced an estimated release date of June 2009. What’s more, they’ve also put out a brand new trailer for the game that features some cut scenes of the characters in action, complete with voice talent of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson. Whether or not the gameplay will be solid, I’m not sure, but adding these voices certainly makes all the difference in the world. I just hope the game doesn’t set up unfair expectations for the third Ghostbusters movie that’s in development right now.
