Did he lose his touch after Debra Hill passed away? Is it his wife Sandy King? Maybe he is sick of the horror genre? Or is he just tired of the movie making business? I love Carpenter, but i remember Ghosts of Mars being not very good. His MOH short film Cigarette Burns was awful, haven’t seen Pro-Life. Vampires was fun for me. I really hope he makes a comeback with this and Riot.
