The subject matter and creators definitely deserve it.

#2 – Here comes the real nerd in me. Sleeper isn’t really a spin-off of Wildcats. It’s just another Wildstorm title. Though the villain (Tao) made his first appearance in Wildcats, and Grifter appears from time to time, Holden Carver (the main character) was a brand new creation for this series. Also, the major involvement of John Lynch and I.O. ties the story more to Team 7 than anything. Not a big deal, but there you go.

#3 – This will never happen, but if series artist Sean Phillips is allowed to design the movie poster and or any other art for the film (DVD packaging, opening titles, etc.) this movie will be worth making/seeing for that reason alone.
