    My Virgin comment!
Nice Podcast fellas, Jay’s Driving Test story is now the new “Ass Cancer” You’ve set a new story benchmark Jay :-)
Will we ever get to hear the story about when you let a stray cat into your house!?

  • Goon

surprised you didnt know about McCains POW story, its an incredible one. But he brings it up all the frigging time. It was 20 minutes or so of his convention speech, and his surrogates use it as an excuse whenever he’s criticized for almost everything, ie when he was being made fun of for not knowing how many houses he has, they said “he only had one house for 5 years and it wasnt pleasant!” – etc. – anyways, the sad part for me is that he sold out his anti-torture stance while going for his party nomination, who generally think otherwise of the issue.

  • Primal

I think they were referring to Bush being a P.O.W. I dunno, I gotta listen again. But yeah, McCain can’t shut up about his story nowadays.

  • Goon

No, I’m pretty sure they were talking McCain.

Anyways, he even brought it up today in an interview with Katie Couric. When asked if being called elitist was a fair criticism considering how well off he is today, he replied “I lived for five and a half years without a kitchen table or a chair in a small cell sometimes by myself.”

  • Primal

Yeah, just listened to that part again. It’s funny that when he ran in 2000 that he didn’t want to talk being a POW. I just saw the last debate tonight waiting for him to talk about it again, but it was a no go.

To change the topic, I wasn’t entirely convinced the West Memphis 3 were innocent after watching Paradise Lost, either. And I started watching expecting to be. The most damning thing was what the main kid himself was saying (I forget his name, I saw the movie a long time ago).
