Film Junk Weekend Wrap-Up: Oct. 5, 2008

Comic book fans got a bit of a shock this week when they heard that Shakespearean filmmaker Kenneth Branagh might be directing the Thor movie, while talk of a Scorsese/DeNiro reunion got plenty of people reminiscing about the good ol’ days. Blindness sparked controversy (and lacklustre reviews), and a leaked Dragonball trailer didn’t get much of a reaction one way or another. Judd Apatow took some of his posse up on stage for a surprise stand up comedy act in L.A., and Ridley Scott confirmed that Russell Crowe will be the new Eddie Murphy in his upcoming film Nottingham!
