Sure Squidbeard (or whoever) looked amazing but I thought the whole series was just plain boring and I don’t get why people liked anything about them but the CG and Johnny Depp.

I also agree with Liz on the CG motion capture thing. LAME.

I loved the first one but the second one was repetitive and the third one was just plain boring. I love Depp, but the faux-Keith Richards schtick is wearing thing.

I’m kind of disappointed to learn that the Alice In Wonderland film is going to be motion-capture animation because I am not a huge fan of that technique. I was excited for this project because of the aesthetic Burton could bring to it, but I feel like the motion-capture animation will make the film far too … glossy? I don’t know, it seems at odds with Burton. Ick.
