Four Christmases Teaser Trailer Starring Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon

With another holiday season only a few months away, I am starting to prepare myself both mentally and physically for the inevitable onslaught of cheesy Christmas comedies. Aside from Bad Santa and maybe Elf, these flicks are rarely worth watching, but they still make out with stockings full of cash thanks to the need for family bonding events. This year’s crop is even more depressing than usual, thanks to the fact that former Frat Pack member Vince Vaughn has seemingly decided to dedicate himself full-time to this dreck. Last year it was Fred Claus, now this year it is Four Christmases, about a couple who struggle to visit all of 4 of their divorced parents on Christmas Day.

The fact that it co-stars Reese Witherspoon just proves how perfectly unoffensive this flick will be. My question is, what the heck is Seth Gordon (The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters) doing directing this thing? I guess you can’t turn down an opportunity to do a Vince Vaughn movie, but still… what a waste. Check out a short teaser trailer/TV spot embedded below. Four Christmases hits theatres on November 26th.

  • If VV can keep up his schtick (which never gets old), this will be good. If it’s too much other bullshit, this will be awful. This movie rests 100% on Vaughn’s shoulders.

  • Vince Vaughn should to win “The Most Spaztastic” award every year… whether he makes a movie that year or not
