I feel like all of Ellis' books (and subsequently the films) are sort of the same story over and over again. I get it-- LA kids are rich and disenfranchised, money is a wierd thing, and drugs are everywhere. I feel like his schtick is getting old. The trailer was a bit long, and just felt like a continuation of Less than Zero and Rules of Attraction.

The link is broken.

As far as Ellis is concerned though, I love Rules of Attraction and American Psycho, so of course, I'm looking forward to this film.

I've read some other Ellis books and seen all the movies: American Psycho is one of my top five favorite films and maybe the best book translation of all time (from the many movies that have books I've read).

That trailer did feel way too long although it was only three minutes. It feels like the trailer editor was "shit" to me. The titles and so forth were cut way amateurish. "Impact" font I on a movie with a budget? Failure.

I liked Brad Renfro and it's too bad he died before he had a true breakout role. Plus its sad Heath Ledgers death kicked his to the curb even though Renfro was first.
