i would love to see him do a remake to resident evil and use george remeroe’s script and have him tweak it a bit and make it better.any thaughts on this idea people?????

I guess I meant to say he’s directing “The Last Airbender”… because James Cameron is directing “Avatar.” What the hell is the difference between “Avatar” and “The Last Airbender”?

I thought it was called “Avatar: The Last Airbender” Can anyone enlighten me?

This is great news for anyone who works production from my neck of the woods (Philly). Night has always made his films locally, and they are about to build an actual legit film studio in the suburbs of Philly, based mainly on Night’s support. He supposedly wants to shoot “Avatar” completely at this studio. Love him or hate him, he has made Philly a great filmmaking city.

Hey I loved his 1st two films The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable but this summer’s “The Happening” was pretty embarrassing. I hope he takes a step back with this, and returns to form a little bit down the road!

I feel like Shayamalan’s latest couple of movies (The Village and The Happening in particular) were like unnecessarily long Twilight Zone episodes. The ideas behind the concepts were interesting, as were the twists, but it felt like he padded the stories with at least an hourâ€™s worth of stuff that didnâ€™t really anything.
As for “Night Chronicles”, I think we’re going to see a lot more movies that are, in quality, going to be a lot closer to The Happening than to The 6th Sense.
