The Pink Panther 2 Teaser Trailer Starring Steve Martin

In some ways it boggles the mind, but apparently The Pink Panther remake/sequel starring Steve Martin made enough cash to warrant a sequel. The first teaser trailer for said sequel has just arrived online, and no, Steve Martin’s fake French accent has not improved. I am guessing this teaser plays a little better in an actual theatre, for reasons you will understand if you decide to watch it. Unfortunately, for me, it’s little more than a reminder that Steve Martin’s career has seen better days. The Pink Panther 2 is directed by Harald Zwart (Agent Cody Banks) and hits theatres on February 6th, 2009.

    Poor, poor Steve Martin. He should make Bowfinger 2 or The Jerk 2. That I would actually go see. Unless Peter Sellers rises from the dead nobody should be making Pink Panther movies.

    OK this is all good and well but I’m waiting for Bringing Down the House 2 and and Cheaper by the Dozen 3.
