Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs Trailer

Well I haven’t seen the first two Ice Age movies and I don’t think I’ll start with this third installment, but I will say that these guys do a good job with their teaser trailers. They play more like short films, and I enjoy the exaggerated style of animation that they use when a lot of other companies seems dead set on making things pseudo-realistic. As you can probably guess, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs introduces dinosaurs to the mix. Personally I’d rather just watch the 90’s Jim Henson TV series Dinosaurs! Ice Age 3 doesn’t hit theatres for another year (July 1st 2009 to be exact); check out the teaser trailer below.

  • I recall enjoying the first Ice Age when i took my mother to see it in the theater for her birthday back when it came out. The second one was shit. This one looks like more of the same, but I’m honestly a little interested by the inclusion of dinosaurs into the mix. I’m not looking forward to Dawn of the Dinosaurs, but I’ll probably catch it on DVD someday.

    I also enjoyed the first one more than the second one, but I still am looking forward to this, I hope they name the T-rex sharptooth. That would be baddass and such a throwback to the old Land Before Time.
