They wouldn’t have to do much makeup with him I think to make him look like a pre-dream demon Freddy Krueger. That’s just my opinion, though.

However, if Michael Bay is bent on literally re-inventing the series, I have no real problem with Michael Rosenbaum playing Freddy. I have to admit, I am actually very interested to see what they do with the series. I hope that they get it back to a more serious, dark tone as opposed to the comical slant the laters NOES films had.
