1) Galactus having a huge cloud around him, and no ship inside with him sat on a seat when the Surfer entered?
2) The Surfer being able to destroy him by just blowing himself up?
3) The Surfer’s powers being from his board and not the power cosmic?

The biggestt issue being that the Surfer apparently had the power to destroy Galactus by just blowing himself up from the start? Why would Galactus give him that much power? He didnt!

I hope they treat this SS film like a complete reboot and ignore the existance of F4:2, because there are too many continuity issues to explain away at the end of that film.

As for Galactus, he’s supposed to be so big that he can swallow a plant whole. How are they gonna pull THAT off without it looking goofy as hell? I remember seeing Galactus in old Silver Surfer comic books I used to have, and how HUGE he was.

FF2 was shit, Galactus was shit, and Silver Surfer was as close to shit as you can get without quite being shit. I have the uncontrollable feeling that a Silver Surfer solo film will end up being to Fantastic Four what Elektra was to Daredevil: a spin-off from a piece of crap that is somehow even more crappy than the movie it’s being spun off from. Blah.

Although the news that Alex Proyas is to direct is very good indeed. He just doesn’t do enough movies. Plus I hope they keep Laurence Fishburne as the voice.
