Baby Mama Trailer Starring Tina Fey

With the success of 30 Rock (not to mention her memorable run on Saturday Night Live), Tina Fey is becoming one of the most sought-after female comedy actor/writers in the business. In 2004, she wrote and starred in Mean Girls, and now her movie career is continuing to build as well. Baby Mama is her first high-profile headlining role, starring as a 37 year old woman who wants to have a baby and hires a somewhat irresponsible surrogate mother (Amy Poehler) to carry it to term for her.

Baby Mama is written and directed by Michael McCullers, who co-wrote all of the Austin Powers movies along with Undercover Brother. The supporting cast looks pretty solid as well, including Greg Kinnear, Sigourney Weaver, Romany Malco (Weeds), and Dax Shepard (Idiocracy). I must admit, the trailer looks quite funny, even though the concept could go either way for me. Check it out below and see what you think. Baby Mama hits theatres on April 25th.

  • Love the voice-over. The revolution is near.

That looks good. I’d def. pay 6.50 to watch that!

If Tina Fey is in it…then I’m there.

  • Am I alone in thinking that Tina Fey is both unfunny and annoying? I love Amy Poehler, though.

  • I liked Mean Girls, but I think this trailer looks like a braincell-killer. Can’t say I thought she did a good job acting in Mean Girls either… That film was all about the nice T&A and Rachel McAdams and Lindsay Lohan both gave great performances. Can you believe McAdams is 27 in that movie? That blew my mind.
