I was going to vote “Golden Compass” because I heard a synopsis of it yesterday on the radio and it sounds interesting. I haven’t found Tim Burton/Johnny Depp interesting since Ed Wood, and the only musical I can stand is maybe “The Wizard of Oz”, so I’ll be avoiding “Sweeny”. I’m crossing my fingers that there’ll be a “Corner Gas” movie coming soon. Since they have so many Canadian celebrities do cameos on the show, maybe Greg and Reed will show up in it.

I also want to see Juno and The Orphanage. The best month of movie releases this year has got to be this month. I love it.

The one of many things that I look forward to in a Tim Burton film is actually seeing Helen Bonham Carter’s performance. Unlike Zombie, Burton is with a women who has a great deal of acting talent and can probably do anything he wants her to do.

Between the three of them, Juno and I Am Legend take precedence, though I had to vote for I Am Legend because I recently watched The Last Man On Earth in preparation for the next episode of The Movie Club Podcast, and I’m now intrigued to see how the Will Smith version will differ from the Vincent Price version (aside from the obvious).
