Pride and Glory Trailer Starring Ed Norton and Colin Farrell

Is it just me or are there a lot of cop dramas coming out lately? Hmm, I suppose they never really go out of style. Here’s the trailer for another one starring Ed Norton and Colin Farrell called Pride and Glory, about a family of police officers who uncover a scandal within the NYPD. From what I understand, the movie’s been in the works for quite a few years now, with Mark Wahlberg and Hugh Jackman attached to star at one point. It was directed by Gavin O’Connor (Miracle) and co-written by Joe Carnahan (NARC, Smokin’ Aces). Although this sounds like something that’s been done many times before, Ed Norton can sell me on just about anything (ugh, I even saw that romantic comedy he was in a few years back, Keeping The Faith… that was a mistake). Pride and Glory is expected to hit theatres sometime in March. Check out the trailer below.

Around the Web:

  • Not only was he in Keeping the Faith, he directed it. His friend wrote it with him. It was basically because they wanted to make a movie in New York, but I agree that it’s pretty inexcusable. That’ one of those movies that I unfortunately own (although it does have entertaining commentary).

  • With a mindnumbing stereotype of a trailer and title, it really is only the supertalented Colin Farrell and Edward Norton that interests me here… It’ll probably be enough for me to go see it, but this trailer is just a big cliché, which gives me little confidence.

  • I recall liking Colin Ferrell when his career was just starting to get rolling, but lately he hasn’t really proven to me that he’s worth watching out for. I’ll be seeing this based on Edward Norton’s involvement alone.

And for the record, I liked Keeping The Faith.

  • I thought Colin Farrell was amazing in (gasp!) Minority Report.
