I have to admit, when I heard that the movie Walk All Over Me was going to star Tricia Helfer and Leelee Sobieski as dominatrices, I figured it was just a gimmick being used to sell what was an otherwise terrible flick. But after watching the trailer, I was a bit surprised by how funny it actually was. The basic idea behind the film is that Sobieski’s character is a timid small-town girl who ends up filling in for Helfer’s character as a way to pay the bills. Unfortunately, they get caught up in some trouble with an organized crime ring, and end up getting more than they bargained for. While I’m sure the movie is bound to do very well based on the sex appeal alone, it clearly has potential as a dark comedy. Marina at Mad About Movies tells us that The Weinstein Company picked this movie up after the Toronto Film Festival, so keep an eye out — it may be coming to a theatre near you soon.
