The interweb is abuzz this morning with talk of Jessica Biel possibly being in negotiations to star as Wonder Woman in the upcoming Justice League live action movie. Once again, Warner Brothers have declined to comment, so we really have no idea if this is actually true or not (however, it does come from Variety, I believe, which is a pretty reliable source). It’s certainly not the first time we’ve heard Biel mentioned as a potential Amazonian, however. She was constantly being brought up as a candidate for Joss Whedon’s Wonder Woman movie, which is now apparently dead in the water.

Here’s the thing I don’t understand: if Jessica Biel is an indication of the type of stars they are going after for the Justice League movie, how the hell are they going to afford to make this thing? This has always been one of the problems with a Justice League movie. If you go with A-list talent, you’ve now committed yourself to signing at least 5 or 6 major stars that can all hold their own. It’s just not feasible in my opinion. Regardless, what do you think of Biel as Wonder Woman? She’s done some action-y type movies in Blade: Trinity and Stealth, so she seems capable there. Personally I don’t think she looks the part, but hey that’s just me. I liked the idea of going with someone more exotic instead. Your thoughts?
