Alongside the many other Marvel comic book movies that are currently in the oven, there is a Hulk sequel that’s been talked about for a while now. Now I don’t know if this is old news or not, but apparently it seems that this sequel has slowly transformed itself into a remake. I guess so many people disliked Ang Lee’s take on the film that they’d rather start fresh with a new director and an all-new cast. (It may also have had something to do with the fact that Eric Bana and Jennifer Connelly did not want to do a sequel, although I find it hard to believe it wasn’t a part of their contract.) A scooper over at Cinescape offers a couple interesting tidbits on the project, the first of which is the movie’s proposed title: Incredible Hulk. The second is a list of possible actors to play Bruce Banner, among them: Dominic Purcell (Prison Break), Adam Garcia (Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen), and… Brendan Fraser? Yeah, these are just rumours, but something tells me Brendan Fraser would be a distinct possibility for a movie like this. I still don’t understand how he has become something of an action movie star… maybe it’s because he can’t act.
