New To Theatres This Weekend – April 21, 2006

Well if you want to see what 24: The Movie might look like, just head out to theatres and check out The Sentinel… everytime I see commercials on TV that’s what I think it is. Also see horror video game adaptation Silent Hill, Hugh Grant in the American Idol satire American Dreamz, or what looks to be a bad made-for-TV movie, The Rocket: The Maurice Richard Story. Among the limited releases this weekend is Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story, a mockumentary about a paintball player I had heard about sometime ago. Funny idea, although the trailer looks lame.

  • Silent Hill looks promising, but I’m afraid that it will over use CGI effects to showcase the transformations.

    Silent Hill was absolutely crappy, didnt like anything about it. i had big hopes for this flick and it did nothing but disappoint.

    nothing else this weekend looks promising, The Sentinel looks like a bad episode of 24.
