Following up on the successful release of the new Tomb Raider: Legend video game, Eidos founder and all-around role-playing nerd Ian Livingstone recently spoke to The Daily Express newspaper in England about the possibilities of a third feature film. It looks as though another Tomb Raider movie is indeed happening, with Angelina Jolie signed on to reprise her role as titillating treasure hunter Lara Croft. Ironically, Jolie and Brad Pitt just recently finished playing “Womb Raider” and are now awaiting the birth of their first child together. Angelina is reportedly undergoing training and taking precautions to ensure she will be able to drop the pregnancy pounds quickly afterwards. I think it would have been more interesting if they had just written a pregnant Lara Croft into the script instead. The Cradle of Life indeed.
