Trailer For Steve Buscemi’s “Lonesome Jim” Out Now
There was a time when it seemed like Steve Buscemi had a role in every movie known to man, but he has slowed his acting career a bit lately, if only to kickstart his career as a director. Truth be told, his first feature film was the 1996 movie Trees Lounge, and since then he has directed some episodes of Oz, The Sopranos and Homicide: Life on the Street, along with the prison flick Animal Factory. I’m guessing that his newest movie, Lonesome Jim, may be the first movie to really get him some attention though. Starring Liv Tyler and Ben Affleck’s brother Casey, the movie is a dark comedy about a depressed 27 year old who is forced to move back in with his parents and his dysfunctional family. A chance meeting with an ex-girlfriend has the potential to turn his life around. Casey Affleck seems to be channeling Bill Murray in this one, but what can I say… the trailer had me laughing. I’m looking forward to this. Lonesome Jim hits select theatres on March 24th.
