Trailer For Barry Sonnenfeld’s “R.V.”

Let’s face it, Robin Williams will never surpass the pinnacle of family comedy that was Mrs. Doubtfire, so there’s really no reason for him to keep on making movies nowadays. Unfortunately, it looks like he’s going to keep on doing them anyways. I probably wouldn’t have even checked out the trailer for R.V. if it wasn’t for director Barry Sonnenfeld’s name in the credits. He’s directed the Men in Black movies, not to mention the pilot for The Tick live action series, so he’s done some funny stuff in the past. R.V. seems like it has potential, however, the trailer failed to really sell me on it. The movie stars Robin Williams as a father who feels like his family his coming apart at the seams. His solution? Buy an R.V. and take a family road trip to the Rockies! Co-starring Cheryl Hines (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Jeff Daniels (The Squid and the Whale), the movie hits theatres on April 28th. Check out the trailer over at Apple now.

    i agree, robin williams hasnt done a great ‘family’ movie since mrs doubtfire. maybe he should think about doing a sequel to that one. he should stick the dramas now. i really have no interest in seeing this film, and i like robin williams.

  • Robin Williams in drama is best….:Good Will Hunting” proves it. To a lesser extent “Patch Adams” as well sans the comedic bits that were a bit lame.
