They say a picture is worth 1000 words… and when it comes down to it, this picture says it all. Jack Black plays an overweight/over-the-top mexican wrestler named Nacho in the upcoming movie “Nacho Libre”, directed by Jared “Napoleon Dynamite” Hess. I don’t know about you, but this single image alone is enough to make me laugh… so I’m assuming the movie itself will be quite enjoyable. The first trailer has just hit the internet courtesy of Ain’t It Cool News, and one thing that struck me about it is that not only does it look quirky and humourous, but it has that lush Jared Hess cinematography making it look more artful than your standard comedy flick. The movie was co-written by Mike White, Jack Black’s buddy who also wrote and starred in School of Rock. Mark down June 2, 2006 on your calendars, kids, I think we’re in for quite a ride.
