New To Theatres This Weekend – Feb. 3, 2006

Almost nothing new in theatres this weekend, save for a remake of a rip-off of Black Christmas. I’d recommend at least waiting for the remake of Black Christmas instead. “Capote” and “Good Night and Good Luck” have been progressing into more theatres on the strength of their Oscar nominations. Other than that, a number of limited releases including “The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada”, “The Tenants”, and “The World’s Fastest Indian” hit theatres in the U.S. but not yet in Canada as far as I can tell.

its a shame once again, taking a classic scarefest flick like when a stranger calls, and turning it into a sad remake. im not saying all remakes suck, but a far number of them bite the big one. and this movie will not be getting any of my deniros.
