With October behind us, it is a new month at the multiplex and we’re starting to see a mix of prestige dramas and family entertainment as we head towards U.S. Thanksgiving. The Queen / Freddie Mercury biopic Bohemian Rhapsody headlines this week’s new releases riding a wave of lukewarm reviews. However, critics are giving a slightly chillier reception to the latest Tyler Perry film Nobody’s Fool and Disney’s fantasy epic The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. In select theatres, we also have Joel Edgerton’s coming-of-age drama Boy Erased, Joseph Kahn’s provocative rap battle flick Bodied and war journalist biopic A Private War starring Rosamund Pike. What will you be watching this weekend?

Much as I loved Queen as a teen, the reviews for this movie seem hum-drum. I’ll wait for it to drop as a freebie on Amazon Prime.
