It’s the last weekend in July which means that blockbuster season is winding down with what is essentially the last major release of the summer, Mission: Impossible – Fallout. Based on the strong buzz and the omnipresent marketing campaign, it certainly seems like this could be the biggest Mission: Impossible movie yet although the current franchise record is not as high as you might think (none of the more recent installments have topped Mission: Impossible II‘s $57.8 million debut). Also in wide release we have the animated feature Teen Titans Go! To the Movies, which feels like it should be putting up The Lego Batman Movie numbers but is actually aiming much closer to The Lego Ninjago Movie. In select theatres, we also have the Sundance hit Puzzle starring Kelly Macdonald and Hot Summer Nights starring Timothée Chalamet and Maika Monroe. What will you be watching this weekend?
