  • Peter Harrison

Is FIRST still a thing when commenting first?

  • Matt the Kiwi

Haven’t listened yet but just the fact that they’ve included a ‘5 minute exorcism’ to recognise episode 666 is hilarious – this is the sort of shit that means I’ll never stop loving Filmjunk.

  • Oso Jugo
  • Reed Farrington

    Only if you’re first.

  • devolutionary

Reed, were you possessed by Pazzuzu or Sybok? Or was it ever made clear?

  • devolutionary

That episodic intro for Reed’s possession story was amazing. Sounds like Reed finally hit puberty. Those Satanic Verses, man!

  • MartyMcFlyJr

You guys went above and beyond with this episode. Well done.

And I completely agree with Frank and his review. Jurassic Mansion was garbage.

    #ReleaseTheBeast666m

  • Reed Farrington

    Some generic demon, I guess.

  • Tim

Quite sure he was possessed by Armond White many episodes ago and any exorcism attempt in this show failed to get at that root demon.

  • Reed Farrington

Nice assumption, but unfortunately, Armond White gave Fallen Kingdom a negative review.

  • Dirk Gently

Had to turn it off after ten minutes. Can someone tell me if the stupid voice effect was turned off at some point i can jump to? Or will the original version be uploaded at some point, sans effects?

  • Reed Farrington

I’m guessing the voice effect goes away after the exorcism. I thought I sounded better with the voice effect.

  • ReelJunkie

Should’ve used Ghost songs as intro/outro to keep with the 666 theme

  • Peter Harrison

Thank you for another classic episode. Competitive carpenters.

  • pcch7

The exorcism immediately goes into classic filmjunk lore

  • pcch7

    Diablos wasn’t it

  • Kommerzschlampe

Well, that would’ve been a funny idea for 5 minutes

  • ReedSucks

Thanks for ruining the show, had to skip this episode now.

  • Colin

Ignore the haters, this episode is amazing. Loving the voice effect… it’s like the inverse of the Movie Review Show @ Reeds

  • jayb0b

I thought you sounded a bit like Greg.

  • Blake in Boston

I’ve been listening since episode 170, and hearing a demonic Reed talk about a giant wasp fitting into a tiny soft drink hole might very well be this show’s high point. Classic stuff, fellas.

  • SquidHead#1Fan

    RIP Diablos

  • Jake

A little disappointed to read some of these negative comments about the Exorcism/Reed’s voice. Are all these listeners new to FJ or something? It’s stuff like this that makes this the best podcast out there. I can only hope that Diablos is resurrected at some point in the future.

  • Blake in Boston

Silent majority, vocal minority. Unfortunately, the comments section for anything on the internet is a breeding ground for pessimism and negativity. THIS. SHOW. ROCKS!

  • Lori Cerny

This ep so deserves several podcast awards.

Congratulations gents on the acting, editing, sound effects, and premise. Bravo!!!

  • Lori Cerny

    Agreed.

  • Jameson

The Exorcism of Reed (Diablos) Farrington. Never knew how much I needed that!

  • Considering that you record the spoiler discussion immediately after the review Diablos should still have been present in it.

    #ReleaseTheBeast

  • Reed Farrington

Um, this time we had the spoiler discussion later.

  • Reed Farrington

Even Jay hates this sort of gimmick so he moved the exorcism from the end to the middle. Some peeps just like the plain stuff. Which also explains my haters.

  • Reed Farrington

    You’re welcome?

  • Your “um” suggests there’s still some Diablos in you, Reed Farrington. The guys should double their Monster dosage next time. #CommenceTheExorcism

  • Oso Jugo

I agree. It was a great show.

Glad I wasn’t the only one who liked Jurassic World 2 as well although it definitely wasn’t the perfect movie. It was like some sort of weird dinosaur fever dream with tons of classic horror movie homages. Nosferatu, Frankenstein, and The Shining. How could you not like the Silence of the Lambs homage with Buffalo Bill himself in the cage with the cannibal? Too bad they couldn’t get a good story in there somewhere too, but I agree with what Jay said, it could have been done if it didn’t have to serve a blockbuster audience. I disagree with Frank that the mansion was the visitor center over again. The mansion was a haunted house, and the dinosaur was the ghost.

  • tim

That may be the case for this particular movie, but he is generally known for being a contrarian, albeit a more well articulated one.

  • frankw35

I didn’t catch on until the exorcism. For the Jurassic World review I just figured you had a bad cold.

  • Brian.M

    Reed sounds like Adam Driver!!

  • Kenneth Serenyi

Connecting the Jurassic Park franchise with the Omen franchise – Sam Neill played Damien in Omen III: The Final Conflict.

  • Claudio

Loved the episode – like allways. Thanks guys! <3

  • Beat_C

the madness of it all ???? thank you thank you thank you.

when i saw the pile of garbage that was JW: FK a couple of weeks ago, i immediately thought sean would fall for it due to a) the name maisie and b) hackerboy. glad that wasn’t the case.

  • Andrew Lincoln

    That was incredible.

  • Reed Farrington

In my view, any movie can be good or bad, depending on how you look at it.

  • iammattz

Amazing concept, amazing idea. You guys are the best.

  • LordAwesome

And here I thought Reed couldn’t get more sexy!

  • DinosaurGhost

I’ve been listening to filmjunk forever and it’s my favourite podcast. I think this is my new favourite episode. I’ve been chuckling to myself all day just imagining Frank’s frequent interjections of “I’m scared” and Diablos’ brief slip into French.

  • Peter Harrison

Sean, Jay, Frank and especially Reed, thank you for making an amazing episode. Unique, clever and most importantly very funny. It’s quite something to do this after 13 (?) years of podcasting, it feels fresh and alive and vital. Doing a hilarious show week in, week out is already a great achievement, but pulling out all the stops to create something this good is to be celebrated. Thank you too to MONSTER for sponsoring this madness. The few little fuckers who don’t like Reed and are complaining about this ep. should be openly ridiculed.

  • Reed Farrington

Thx for your continual comments of support, Peter! They are appreciated.

  • Reed Farrington

I thought I slipped into Spanish. I only bothered to learn three Latin phrases. I wasn’t expecting to be asked questions.

  • DinosaurGhost

Before self-correcting into Spanish you initially answered Jay with French. And I just noticed you thanked someone for the Monster drink in French too.

  • Reed Farrington

I must have been possessed, because I don’t recall the other languages!

  • Samb

And Jay’s offhand “brutal…brutal episode” really supplied the verisimilitude from the start…
