Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Final Trailer

Universal has just released one more trailer for Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom prior to its release in June and this one fully reveals a brand new dino threat, apparently named Indoraptor. It also showcases a fair number of scenes that seem to take place off the island, despite the fact that the initial premise involves Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) trying to rescue the dinosaurs from a volcanic eruption on Isla Nublar. Of course, there’s still an evil corporate conspiracy to thwart and Jeff Goldblum shows up for at least one scene. If Jurassic World was a loose remake of the original Jurassic Park, it seems pretty clear that this one is following many of the same beats as The Lost World. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is directed by J.A. Bayona (A Monster Calls, The Impossible) and hits theatres on June 22nd. Check out the final trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.

Not sure about this. I think it could be a fun time and I always like the idea of going back to an overrun island but the stuff in the mansion.. Not fully into that. And this comradery bewteen Pratt and the raptor is a hard sell for me

None of these scenes feel connected, but I’m down with the freed sea dinosaur eating surfers.

All the things i see here are why blockbuster cinema is dead and rotten. Where is the original Jurassic Park feeling of wonder and magic in this? I’m shocked about this new direction. Absolutely shocked. :(
