Deadpool 2 Full Theatrical Trailer

deadpool2

After a handful of unconventional teaser trailers that showcased only brief snippets of actual footage, this week Fox has debuted a much more straightforward theatrical trailer for Deadpool 2. And yes, unfortunately, it is called simply Deadpool 2, not “Untitled Deadpool Sequel”… what a disappointment. This time around we get to see a bit more of Josh Brolin as Cable but the movie also introduces the X-Force as created by Deadpool himself, which includes Zazie Beetz as Domino plus Terry Crews, Shioli Kutsuna and several others in unknown roles. (Internet speculation as to who those characters may be is already well underway.) If that’s not enough, Brianna Hildebrand will also be back as Negasonic Teenage Warhead along with T.J. Miller as Weasel, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, and Karan Soni as Dopinder. Does this look like everything you were hoping for in a Deadpool sequel? Deadpool 2 hits theatres on May 18th; check out the latest trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.

Was this X-Force stuff known beforehand? I know they are planning a stand alone X-Force movie, but didn’t expect to see a lot of that in this. Don’t remember hearing about any of the casting either. Terry Crews???.

Ryan Reynolds loves being Deadpool too much. It’s his entire persona now. There’s something so off-putting about it, it feels so…try-hard.

I couldn’t put into words how I felt about RR as Dead Pool. Your first sentence, summarizes it PERFECTLY. Thank you.

I don’t get this ‘chip on the shoulder’ attitude towards RR and the Deadpool films. To me it just looks like a guy having a great time and making fun films at the same time (and a lot of us are enjoying the output – fills a space that is otherwise empty at the moment). Perhaps you need to explain to me what him loving being Deadpool just the right amount would look like.

I don’t get it either. I thought he was great

agreed so much. i think someone with real comedic talent could pull that approach off, but not reynolds.

Thought that was already clear from the first shiity film?

Dead Pool 2: Dead Poolier I can’t hate it but over 90 minutes the joke wore a bit thin in the first one for me. Would be perfect as a 40 minute episodic foil to the humourless Netflix Marvel shows

That Sidterhood of the Travelling Pants name drop made throw up in my mouth

What a weird thing to be against.
