Tag Trailer: Real-Life 20+ Year Game of Tag Comes to the Big Screen

Hawkeye may have been missing in action in The Avengers: Infinity War trailer but he’s all over the marketing for the upcoming Warner Brothers movie Tag, which is looking like the big star-studded comedy of the summer. The movie is based on the true story of a group of friends who have continued playing a game of tag for over 20 years and well into adulthood. It’s an amusing concept for sure and you can see how it has a heartfelt message at its core as well, but will it actually be funny? The movie is directed by Jeff Tomsic (Idiotsitter) and written by Rob McKittrick (Waiting…) and Mark Steilen (Shameless) with a stacked cast that includes Jeremy Renner, Ed Helms, Jake Johnson, Hannibal Buress, Isla Fisher, Annabelle Wallis, Jon Hamm, Rashida Jones and Leslie Bibb. Tag hits theatres on June 15th; check out the first trailer after the jump and see what you think.
