All the Money in the World TV Spot Featuring Christopher Plummer

If you need proof as to just how fast Ridley Scott works, check out the latest TV spot for his upcoming movie All the Money in the World. It already features brand new scenes with Christopher Plummer as J. Paul Getty, who was brought in to replace Kevin Spacey following his sexual misconduct scandal. The announcement was made on Nov. 8th and now just three weeks later, the new footage has already been completed and incorporated into the marketing of the film. Pretty impressive. As for whether or not Plummer is actually an improvement in the role, I suppose that’s up for debate but he certainly looks less distracting than Kevin Spacey with all that make-up / vfx work. All the Money in the World hits theatres on Dec. 22nd; check out the new trailer after the jump and see what you think.

Impressive! I think I actually prefer Plummer than Spacey for the exact same reason that Sean mentioned – all that facial prosthesis was a major distraction. I also find Plummer cuts more of a sympathetic figure which may help to make his actions in the film seem a bit more complex than just being a villain.
