1922 Trailer: Another Stephen King Adaptation Comes to Netflix

1922

If you thought the current Stephen King resurgence was about to hit its peak this month with the release of It and Gerald’s Game, Netflix has one more movie up their sleeve and ready to add to the mix. 1922 is an adaptation of the Stephen King novella of the same name from his 2010 collection Full Dark, No Stars, and it takes place in Nebraska in the year 1922. A rancher (played by Thomas Jane) decides to murder his wife (Molly Parker) and attempts to cover it up with the help of his teenage son (Dylan Schmid). Directed by Zak Hilditch (These Final Hours), it looks to be a disturbing portrait of a man slowly losing his grip on reality. 1922 arrives on Netflix on Oct. 20th; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.
