New to Theatres This Weekend: Birth of the Dragon, Leap!, Terminator 2: Judgment Day 3D
It’s the last weekend of August and the line-up of new movies seems even more barren than usual with only two major releases hitting theatres (if you can call them that). The CG animated film Leap! is the biggest new release although I suspect most people out there probably haven’t even heard of it, while the Bruce Lee biopic Birth of the Dragon may have trouble attracting even hardcore action movie fans. Faith-based drama All Saints is also playing on 800+ screens while Good Time and Ingrid Goes West are both expanding to approximately the same. In limited release we also have the 3D re-release of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, the indie drama Tulip Fever and the Bollywood action-comedy A Gentleman. Will you be watching anything this weekend?
