Noah Baumbach’s The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) Trailer

Noah Baumbach’s latest dysfunctional family dramedy is heading to Netflix in just a couple of months after premiering at Cannes earlier this year (where Netflix was apparently booed… ouch). The movie stars Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler and Elizabeth Marvel as three adult siblings who have struggled to deal with their hard-nosed father (played by Dustin Hoffman) all their lives. Baumbach has worked with Stiller multiple times before but it is interesting to see Sandler back in an art house film and the first trailer features him showing off his musical “chops”. Emma Thompson, Adam Driver, Candice Bergen, Judd Hirsch, Grace Van Patten and Rebecca Miller also co-star. The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) arrives on Netflix and in select theatres on Oct. 13th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.

Adam Sandler can be quite good when he’s not doing his Happy Madison bullshit.

    I’m looking forward to this.
