New to Theatres This Weekend: Annabelle: Creation, The Glass Castle, The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature

It’s shaping up to be another slow weekend at multiplexes as we start scraping the bottom of the summer movie barrel. Annabelle: Creation is the biggest release of the week and should easily come out on top, especially considering that reviews seem to be stronger than its predecessor. The other major releases are The Glass Castle starring Brie Larson and the animated sequel The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature. The good news is that there are are some interesting indie films hitting select theatres, although they are playing on just a few screens apiece. Of particular note is the social media satire Ingrid Goes West starring Aubrey Plaza and Elizabeth Olsen, crime thriller Good Time starring Robert Pattinson, and the third installment in The Trip series, The Trip to Spain starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon. What will you be watching this weekend?
