George Clooney’s Surburbicon Trailer Starring Matt Damon

George Clooney’s latest directorial project Suburbicon was among the first group of films announced for this year’s Toronto International Film Festival, and based on the first trailer it feels a heck of a lot like a Coen Brothers movie. That’s probably because they co-wrote the script with Clooney and his frequent writing partner Grant Heslov. The story takes place in 1950s suburbia and revolves around a husband and father (Matt Damon) who gets pulled into a “dark underbelly of betrayal, deceit, and violence.” There is also clearly some dark comedy here too and a supporting cast that includes Oscar Isaac and Julianne Moore. Suburbicon hits theatres on Oct. 27th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
