Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later Trailer

wethotamerican

A couple of years ago when Netflix bankrolled a TV follow-up to David Wain and Michael Showalter’s cult classic Wet Hot American Summer, Wain and Showalter decided to make it a prequel with all of the actors playing younger versions of themselves despite being 14 years older. Now they’re back for another limited series and they’ve decided to go in the opposite direction, setting it ten years after the movie and drawing inspiration from ’90s movies like St. Elmo’s Fire, Singles and The Big Chill. It finds them heading back to Camp Firewood for a 10 year reunion with most of the all-star cast returning including Paul Rudd, Kristen Wiig, Amy Poehler, Ken Marino, Elizabeth Banks, H. Jon Benjamin, Janeane Garofalo, Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, Molly Shannon, Chris Meloni, David Hyde Pierce, Joe Lo Truglio and Marguerite Moreau. Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later arrives on Netflix on Aug. 4th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.
