Kenneth Branagh’s Murder on the Orient Express Trailer

Plenty of actors have played Agatha Christie’s famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot over the years, but this time around Sir Kenneth Branagh is taking a turn with a new adaptation of the classic whodunit Murder on the Orient Express. He’s also directing the movie and based on the first trailer it seems pretty faithful to the source material (although that Imagine Dragons song feels horribly out of place). For the most part it will simply be sold on its all-star cast which includes Penelope Cruz, Willem Dafoe, Judi Dench, Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Daisy Ridley and Josh Gad. Murder on the Orient Express hits theatres on Nov. 10th; check out the first trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.

you know, with all the crash bang movies of late, this feels so refreshingly old school , great trailer, very much looking forward to it.

if you’re doing a fake french accent, at least get the name hercule poirot right.

Couldn’t have said it better myself. Looks like a whole heap of fun.
