All Eyez on Me Trailer: The Long-Awaited Tupac Biopic

alleyezonme

We’ve been hearing about the possibility of a Tupac Shakur biopic for years now, but with the recent success of Straight Outta Compton and the music rights about revert back to his mother, Morgan Creek finally got their act together and pushed the movie into production. John Singleton and Carl Franklin were both attached to direct at one time, but the job ultimately went to commercial and music video director Benny Boom (Next Day Air). Newcomer Demetrius Shipp Jr. is playing Pac while Jamal Woolard is reprising his role from Notorious as Biggie Smalls. Clearly there is an important story to tell here, although it remains to be seen if they will do it justice (Singleton seems convinced they won’t). All Eyez on Me hits theatres on June 16th; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.

Better than the first trailer I saw like a year ago now. This seems more professional, but there’s still something a little off about it though.
The actors looks is the most amazing aspect, he is like a clone. (His voice is off though) Let’s just hope he has the acting chops as well.
