My Entire High School Sinking Into The Sea Trailer

There don’t seem to be many animated movies out there nowadays that aren’t billion dollar CG-animated blockbusters (or at least, very few that get any sort of theatrical release). Fortunately, distributor Gkids has made it their mission to provide exposure for some of these smaller animated films and here is one they acquired late last year with an intriguing mixed media art style and solid voice cast. Written and directed by graphic novelist Dash Shaw, My Entire High School Sinking Into The Sea is a quirky teen comedy about a group of high schoolers dealing with typical relationship drama until disaster strikes and their school (you guessed it) starts to sink into the ocean. Featuring the voices of Jason Schwartzman, Lena Dunham, Reggie Watts, Maya Rudolph, Susan Sarandon, Alex Karpovsky and John Cameron Mitchell, this seems like it could be worth a look (just don’t tell Frank I said that). My Entire High School Sinking Into The Sea hits select theatres on April 14th; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.

Frank hated his movie. Looks like he was right after all.

I’m gonna stick an ‘is’ in that title any time I mention it, whether it likes it or not!
