Deadpool 2 Teaser Trailer

If you saw Logan over the weekend and waited around for the usual comic book post-credit scene, you’ll know that the movie actually doesn’t have one. What it does have instead is a pre-credit teaser for Deadpool 2, which was a better choice considering that it completely clashes with the sombre tone of Logan. Ryan Reynolds has since gone ahead and released that teaser online, so now’s your chance to give it another look. The movie hasn’t started shooting yet so it doesn’t feature any actual footage from the film, but it does offer up some appropriately dark, self-referential laughs. Deadpool 2 will be directed by David Leitch (John Wick) and hits theatres sometime in 2018; check out the teaser after the jump and let us know what you think.

I love teasers like this. Who knows if this will be any good, but I wish more films would release trailers that didn’t use footage from the actual film. I’m probably in the minority on that though.

    Looks great! Love this teaser!

I too wish they made more teasers/trailers like these instead of showing footage from the actual movie. But I assume cost is the reason why we don’t.

Huh, who’da thunk I’d be sick of Deadpool 2 already.

Deadpool is such a refreshing character. Teaser looks awesome! Really enjoyed the first film and I’m looking forward to this too.

I bet Frank hated the pre-Logan trailer. So much cutesy pandering.

I hate Deadpool’s entire shtick. Can’t stand it.

I’m surprised nobody’s bothered by the titular character not giving a fuck about the victim…hilarious.

The whole thing feels like someone continuing a joke even though it is clearly not working. Just sustained cringing.
