The House Trailer Starring Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler

Aside from Baywatch, this year’s upcoming summer line-up has been severely lacking in major comedies so far, but the good news is that we’re finally starting to see a few more come out of the woodwork. Amazon and Lionsgate just announced that they will release the Kumail Nanjiani / Zoe Kasan film The Big Sick this summer and now today Warner Brothers has released the first trailer for The House starring Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler. Written and directed by Andrew J. Cohen and Brendan O’Brien (who previously wrote Neighbors and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates), the story revolves around two parents who decide to open an underground casino in their house in order to pay for their daughter’s college tuition. As you can probably guess, things get CRAZY. The House co-stars Jason Mantzoukas, Allison Tolman, Rob Huebel and Andrea Savage and it hits theatres on June 30th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.

Not the funniest trailer, but I’ll watch it for Jason Mantzoukas. Good to see him getting some bigger movie roles!
