With The Lego Batman Movie hitting theatres this weekend and looking likely to be another huge hit, Warner Brothers has released the first full trailer for their next Lego-related animated feature, The Lego Ninjago Movie. Based on the animated series and toy line of the same name, the story revolves around six young ninjas in a modern day world who must face off against the evil warlord Garmadon (who also happens to the father of one of those ninjas). Featuring the voices of Dave Franco, Justin Theroux, Fred Armisen, Olivia Munn, Kumail Nanjiani, Michael Pena, Zach Woods and Jackie Chan, the movie looks to have the same visual style and self-aware, tongue-in-cheek comedic flavour as The Lego Movie, which should help it pull in a bigger audience than just fans of the show. The Lego Ninjago Movie hits theatres on Sept. 22nd; check out the trailer after the jump and let us know what you think.

Not feeling this at all. Doesn’t have the pulling power of the other two Lego movies, and it all feels a little off…
