Trumped Trailer: The First of Many Inevitable Donald Trump Documentaries

Well that sure didn’t take long. It may be the last thing anyone wants to see right now, but just one week after Donald Trump has officially taken office as the President of the United States, Showtime is promoting a documentary about the ugly election that won him the position. Trumped: Inside the Greatest Political Upset of All Time (not to be confused with that other Trump documentary, Anthony Baxter’s You’ve Been Trumped) is directed by Ted Bourne, Mary Robertson and Banks Tarver, all of whom were producers on Showtime’s election coverage show The Circus: Inside the Greatest Political Show on Earth. Early reviews seem to indicate that it’s a bit of a rush job and doesn’t delve into the deeper reasons for Trump’s win, but it does offer a recap with behind the scenes footage of how it all played out. Trumped premiered at Sundance last week and it will debut on Showtime on Feb. 3rd; check out the first teaser trailer and an extended clip after the jump and let us know what you think.

Before Trump puts up a wall and all of us Americans are trapped here, I am thinking of moving to Canada. I was wondering if Film Junk offers any incentives for Canadians? Can Canadians download your podcasts a few hours before Americans? Will shipping be less when you sell the first 1000 episodes on a thumb drive?

I can confirm that shipping is cheaper. But the packaging may have French on it.

That blown up background of Trumps mouth is hypnotically toxic. Much like his rise to the presidency.
