Gore Verbinski’s A Cure for Wellness Trailer

After spending a decade of his career focusing on big blockbusters for Disney and producer Jerry Bruckheimer (with a few smaller detours for The Weather Man and Rango), Gore Verbinski is returning to the horror genre for the first time since his 2002 remake of The Ring. His new movie is called A Cure for Wellness and, despite an awkward title that sounds like a charity event, it looks to be both mysterious and creepy. The movie stars Dane DeHaan as a young executive who is sent to retrieve his company’s CEO at a wellness spa somewhere in the Swiss Alps. After arriving, he soon finds himself trapped and unable to escape as he slowly uncovers some dark secrets. A Cure for Wellness co-stars Mia Goth and Jason Isaacs and it hits theatres on Feb. 17th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.

Verbinski’s new film is a horror movie not scored by Zimmer?

It’s almost like he’s trolling Frank.
