2016 Emmy Award Winners

emmywinners2016

The 86th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards were handed out last night in Los Angeles, and just in case you missed it we’ve got the full list of winners right here (okay it’s not 100% complete… have you seen how many categories there are??). FX’s series The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story topped all other shows with five awards, but Game of Thrones won three, bringing the show’s all-time total number of Emmys to 38, which breaks the record previously held by Frasier. Some of the surprises included Rami Malek winning Lead Actor in a Drama for Mr. Robot and Tatiana Maslany winning Lead Actress for Orphan Black. Kate McKinnon also won an Outstanding Supporting Actress award for Saturday Night Live (which I didn’t even think was possible) and Louie Anderson won Outstanding Supporting Actor for Baskets. What did you think of this year’s Emmy awards? Check out the list of nominees and winners after the jump.

  • Stinker

i am glad that Richard Dreyfuss is alive. Otherwise who cares.

  • Catherine

Is “Outstanding Special Visual Effects In A Supporting Role” a typo or a real category, lol?

  • Jameson

Fargo and The Americans, two of the best shows on TV, won nothing. That says enough.

  • No one important

Holy moly that’s a long, bloated,”who gives a flip” list. This awards ceremony lost any integrity it could possibly retain when the best tv movie category included “A very Murry Christmas” in it’s nominee list. How the mighty can fall.

  • 9No

Still pissed that there was no Leftovers season 2 on there..
Although I was happy about Tatiana Maslany, Rami Malek and Kate McKinnon winning!
