The Founder Trailer Starring Michael Keaton

After the one-two punch of Birdman and Spotlight, Michael Keaton is continuing to get offered all kinds of meaty roles. Word on the street is that he might end up playing a villain in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but this year he’s got another potential awards contender on deck that takes full advantage of his fast-talking comedy skills. The Founder is a biopic about Ray Croc, the salesman and entrepreneur who helped Mac and Dick McDonald turn their fast food chain into an American institution. Directed by John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side, Saving Mr. Banks) and co-starring Patrick Wilson, Linda Cardellini, Nick Offerman, Laura Dern, John Carroll Lynch and B.J. Novak, the movie will be released by The Weinstein Company later this summer. The Founder hits theatres on Aug. 5th; check out the trailer after the jump and see what you think.

Wow. Now take a story like that and make it interesting…really interesting. Good trailer and I never tire of the Keaton. Give me some Keaton!

Dwy-guy, you’re truly killing with the dad humor. These jokes are a cut above the rest.

Based on Hancock’s other work. This will be an easy watch but nowhere near anyone’s top 10 list.
